dead corals coming back to life?

So I've heard some people say they have had corals come back from complete or near death such as completely bleached sps coming back or "dead" lps skeletons growing new heads/new tissue growth. I was wondering how many people have also had this experience, thank you!

If there is tissue, there is a possibility. I regularly buy frags that are about dead at my LFS for 4.95 and bring almost all of them back.

It's fairly common. Corals can regenerate from small bits of remaining tissue...
