Recently, some of my dead corals returned to life. I had a decent size goni seemed to die off from a coral sting perhaps from the plate coral below it. I removed the whole dead flower pot. Month later, tiny little goni heads sprouted up on the same rock and it has continued to grow larger. Had a blue polyp digita get crowded out by other acros many months back. Bleached white so I removed it to make room for the other encrusters. Now I just noticed like 4 new branch stems maybe 2" tall in the middle of the other SPS. It must have grown back from a spec of encrusting base still on the rock and was not really visible sitting outside my tank but now I can see it clearly back from the dead. Pretty cool survival adaptation. Anyone else have similar?
