Hi all. On Friday I had delivered an orange lobophyllia and a rainbow acan. Delivery was late, I finally unpacked and acclimated them about 38-40 hours after they were shipped. They have been like that since. Color is showing, I can sometimes see marginal movement in the lobo, but they definitely seem unhappy. Are they dying -dead...or getting used to things? Do they have a chance to recover? Where should I best place them and is there something else I could do for them?

I would leave them alone for 48 hours.

just seems stressed maybe from the different salt you use. You can't do much with LPS, just give it some time. Double check salinity.

Thanks, but they have been like this since Friday. Salinity is at 1025-1026 and everybody else is ok

water change is your best friend to eliminate problems if you have any. check your rodi TDS, make sure your refractometer is calibrated properly. not much else you can do other than that. I dont see any dead areas, they look like they will bounce back.

He said his other corals are fine and that these were clearly just added to the tank. Water changes are not always the magic fix and in this case I doubt would do anything for him.

My vote, leave them alone for a bit like others have mentioned.
