Hello reefers

Found one of my clownfish dead in my tank this morning, but when I to grab him out he sunk behind my live rock and I cant get him out without completely removing my live rock, can I just leave him in there and have my clean up crew take care of him or should I try to get him out now?

My clean up crew consists of a few hermits three different snails and two purple lobsters

If you want to remove him try blowing a power head behind the rocks to get him to a spot you can get to.

Remove. You do not want the extra ammonia build up. If the fish died of a disease or parasite it’s best to remove to check. You may need to treat your display tank or other animals if needed.

Depending how big your tank is but if you have some spare RODI line around you can sneak it in the rock crevice to either push him out or blow on the other end to push him out with air flow (careful not to create a siphon back out).
