Dead mangroves

I have a 46g mix reef with 6 mangroves in my display tank. I have two mangroves that are dead and still in the tank. My question is do mangroves release some type of bad stuff back to the tank or not? I'm asking because I have gsp growing on one and on the other the roots are already deep within a rock, so if it's bad to leave the dead ones in there what's the best way to remove it?

I have read that it is bad to allow dead leaves from the mangrove plant to fall into the tank.

I've seen that happened and noticed nothing bad after I'm more concern about the plant itself

I suspect it will be like other wood, which will slowly rot but not otherwise be an issue.
