Dead or Alive?

New to saltwater within the last 6 months.
The time lapse was prior to a rock structure fall which buried most of my corals.
Was optimistic this guy was ok.

Here’s what he looks like now. Thoughts? Suggestions please.

The time lapse videos after the photos are the same as the imbedded video. On my phone it showed my video upload wouldn’t work.

It’s been ticked for several weeks, nearly a month.

Should I move it? Adjust light, water circulation, etc, or just leave it it be?

Apparently “ticked off” is acceptable and “ticked off” gets you a warning and text bleeped... I will keep the rest of my views to myself, just saying that’s unproductive.

Hahaha. They like gentle flow and moderate light. How often do you do water changes, what's your filtration like. I had one in a tank that was neglected and it closed up like that for a few weeks. Finally shut that tank down and it perked up, but took a few weeks to do so.

I have been doing 5-10% once a month maybe, partly due to evaporation.

I don’t have a typical saltwater setup I guess you might say.

I’m using the Marineland Internal canister filter.
