Dead or closed?

I want some of your guys' advice on if these corals are dying or closed. They to reopen sometimes but this doesn't look like their normal closing.

looks like a very unhappy hammer coral
Yeah I'm trying to fix that, I am not sure what changed. Just yesterday he was doing great and ive had it for around 3 weeks now.
 
If this only started happening I wouldn’t freak out yet. These soft corals sometimes just close up with no apparent explanation and open back up.

Yeah thats my thought, just this morning he was fully extended and all my other corals are great just these two
 
It's the soft coral forums. But, do you think the torch may have stung it?
Good thought but no he can't reach, the clowns play in it pretty often though which causes it to close.
 
They can send out sweepers at night, unless the clown is using both of them as shelter. The clown could be the issue here.

The clown as we speak is closing the toches, but the hammer hasn't been that closed before which is why I posted. I'll check tomorrow and hopefully it'll be fine. Thanks for the feedback!
