Dead spot on my Tulip Urchin

Does anyone know what this is,what caused it, and how to treat it?

It looks like it's lost some spines in that spot. Not sure if there's anything you can do to treat it other than maintain stable water parameters and keep an eye on it to see if it gets worse.
