I’ll try posting this here, it seems like there is more traffic here.It looks to me like it is a dead spot, but I don’t know. It has been this way for a few months now, but the size of the spot doesn’t change. The rest of the coral is growing fine. At night when the lights go blue, it releases some type of slime. Anybody know what is wrong with it and if there is anything I can do? (The hammer is not as close as it looks)

I'm not sure, but I did try to ID them. What ever they are, they are killing tissue probably from irritating the tissue of the coral or eating it. Thus the slime.

Do they move?

If I was to guess and they didn't move, I'd say they are a type of hydroid.

Looks like you can't remove the coral due to it incrusting. I would super glue them. The coral may then incrust over the dried super glue.

The picture did not work
