Dead Tigger Pods added to tank

I purchased some Tigger Pods. I lost the package and then found it after it sat for 4 days. When I opened it. Smelled a bit yucky and i didnt see much movement. Against better judgement i added the entire 6oz bottle to my tank. looks like most are dead. Will this dead group screw up my parameters of my small 20 gallon tank. Should i do a larger water change to get rid of some of the additional ammonia from the dead guys that will be in my tank?

So, what do you have eating those dead pods?

Thawed frozen food is dead, pellets and flakes are not alive... no matter what you are feeding your tank, likely you are introducing 'dead' without giving those other foods as much thought as these mostly dead tigger pods.

Below is my thread for culturing Tigger Pods. Tigger pods are pretty tough little guys, sorry you lost them. They don't need much, but at room temperature they were likely seeking food and/or oxygen. They'll even climb out of my culture water, but I'm not sure if they do that to jump on top of food (powdered spirulina) or want more oxygen (maybe, but they even have airstone these days) or if they want as close to the light when it is turned on, or if they just like the exercise, taking that proverbial long walk off short pier (water).... lol

I am trying to get my mandarin and leopard wrasse a steady source of food without having h to go get amphopods once a week from local pet store.

Additionally I am hoping to gain beneficial breakdown of waste from the Tigger pods.

Any suggestions on other pods that are easier is much appreciated.

Don't have any easier suggestion than above beverage container with powdered spirulina growing live tigger pods...

My outside pod culture has exploded. I have millions of pods following on from last year. I will have live pods to feed until late summer at least now. So easy to culture nothing could be easier. All that's needed is a container, I use one of those under bed storage boxes, old tank water,a leaf...
