Dead zoas dangerous to anything?

Just got a few zoa frags in and one of them is on its last leg. Looks like they are melting, but just wanted to leave it in case of a possible recovery. My other zoas near it are closed, I don't know if it's related to the dying ones. Do I need to remove the (pretty much) dead frag?

Probably a good idea, you never know...
Could be pests, fungal, etc.
Why risk it

I'd dip it in a bit of hydrogen peroxide, till you see bubbles forming, then soak for a few minutes, then see if they recovery, there are a ton of posts on how to dip your zoas if you search

Will give the dip a shot tomorrow. Isolated the frag for now. Thanks

That white stuff isn't good!

That plug you can dip on Lugol's or Hydrogen peroxide.
For Lugol's use 5 -10 oz of tank water and 5-8 drops of Lugol's for 3-5 min.
Hydrogen Peroxide could be 5-10 oz of tank water and 20% of water content of H2O2.
See the bubble take it out, rinse in tank water and return to tank.
Place it far from other colonies and with moderate flow.

I can say this much, i just order a bunch of small frags and they all just about died but one and my birds nest sps was the first o e to let me know that it was unhappy with it all..
