after having ich or velvet, today I bought 3 new fish (all old are dead, tank without fish for 75 days) bought breeding, two ocelaris and a Royal G. Completed blue life safty stop. 40 minutes in solution A, but after 15 minutes in solution B I feared that Royal G was struggling, then took it straight into DT. Does the quarantine have little effect because of the short time in solution B?

Of the two parts, A is more important. However, Safety Stop, like all dips, is less effective than a full quarantine process. The reason for this is that parasites imbedded in a fish’s skin are somewhat isolated from the dip. Stronger dips are more effective, but become dangerous to the fish.
Also, as you discovered, safety stop dips are stressful, right at a time when the fish are already being stressed by being caught up and moved.

Thank you for your feedback. I am aware that it is not as effective as full quarantine. must carefully consider full quarantine on the next fish or more expensive fish in the future.
