Dealing with Aptasia

I have tried all of the usual suspects to fight aiptasia and finally have a winner, a filefish. Both ORA and Biota sell them to my LFS.

Is the file fish reef friendly and get along with others?

If you saw a single aptasia or 5, no need yet to start ordering livestock.
Simply ..... using a syringe, use lemon juice or preferably kalkwasser powder mixed into a thin paste and inject into center core of the aptasia and watch it melt away

Yep, but if a week later you see five more, bring in reinforcements. Don't do what I did and fight chemical warfare for two weeks only to find out later that it was all for naught.

Mine is extremely friendly and has never showed any aggression towards other fish. It goes about it's own business and often times simply hangs out next to the rocks. It has never gone after my coral.

By the way, I had peppermint shrimp and I found them at night when the lights were out having a party on top of my zoa colonies. I do not believe the argument that they don't bother your coral.
