Hey guys, I just bought 2 Condy Anemonies for my 55 gallon. I noticed they like to move around alot. Any suggestions on how to settle them down a bit? Or do I just have to deal with them? And another thing, and they date around my corals? And will my 2 clowns host them?

This may give you little hope but, they'll move until they find the right conditions for them, flow light etc. Even after that they might still move, they don't ever seem happy in one spot. I have had one stay in places for something like two yeas only to move a day later.

Yeah, that's right. They'll move but should eventually find a good spot. Your clowns will likely not host them. Your best bet there is a sebae new, Ritter, and sometimes btas depending on the type of clown.

Condy is not a host anemone, but every blue moon a clown will host one.

They move a lot though, really not much you can do.

I would try a BTA or haddoni.

The Condy will only host cardinal fish and it's rare to see them do it in captivity. They can also at times host arrow crabs but finding the right specimen of either is a challenge.

I have a few different types of nems in my tank, one being a coney... that thing has walked all over( high and low) but has net settled in one place for more then a week. I have now had this one for 7 months.

+1 they will move until they are happy. It is important to make sure you clear the way and dont try to move them or you may damage the foot and kill them.
