What's the best way to deal with these guys? I tried to slide a torch off with a razor so I could glue him in place on my live rock but didn't have any luck. I have about 10-12 frags going now in my tank but I don't know what to do with the stands. They look terrible. Any advice??

A picture would help so we can see what you are dealing with.

When you say frag stand, do you mean frag plug that holds the coral or the stand that holds several frags at once?

I used small hand held pruning shears from local hardware store to cut my frogspawn colony.

Good sharp cutters at base where the frag and plug meet. Then use some 2 part putty to attach it to a rock or the rock base of your aquascape. Hammers and Frogspawn I'll usually attach to a small maybe 2-3 inch piece of rock rubble so I can move it around to find its ideal spot.
