My tank has been a nightmare since I removed the sandbed in over a year ago. It’s a 90 display with a 60 frag tank. Both goes through their algae issues at different times. Tank is going on 2 years old but with some changes I highly disturbed the system. Since removing the sandbed I have added some Florida liverock to get some beneficial bacteria going but I keep getting a mixture of algae’s taking over. Nitrates are 10.7. Phosphates are 0.02. When I take a toothbrush to the rock it comes right off and has active coralline algae growing under. It bubbles up some when I scrub it. Some rock I have in the tank shows zero algae. Just random ones here and there. The tank has extremely high flow is an bare bottom so nothing really settles on the starboard.
