I've also swapped some diodes out as well. I swapped all 10k, red, and green diodes for 3.5k warm white diodes. It cost me less than $10/fixture and about 15 mins each to do this.

Have you had a chance to install the bluefish mini's ? my tank is a bit larger than yours and i have 4 kessil's over it now and i have just enough room between each light to add a OR-T247 for a total of 3 and 4 kessil's. i like the idea of the bluefish and i could ramp up and down like i do with the kessil's

I've got 3 OR-T247's over my 80 gallon. Pretty happy with the results. I get good growth and great color. Plan to add the bluefish mini's to make them Wifi controllable.

Could do two AI Hydra HD lights, or maybe three AI prime HDs. Not sure if the primes would penetrate that far, but would sure look sleek

The photon V2's use the 5w Crees with 90 degree optics. The penetration is great and they make up to a 48" fixture I believe. I have the 24" and love it. Very streamline as well

I have not done the mod yet. Looking to do it end of November. I read a thread outlining how to do it and it seemed pretty straight forward.

I'm sure i have read the same thing. I'm going to try and control 3 units with 1 bluefish.
