So Currently I'm plannign for 2 ai nero 5's in my build, and thought about the gyres, would it be beneficial to switch to gyres or stay with neros?

3ft by 2ft floor plan on the tank I'm currently looking at 22 inch height. Waterbox 100.3
plans for the 2 Nero's would be have both slightly off set from center and have them counter synced and use the random flow patterns they produce

as well as the return being dual nozzle.

just thinkign about ideas and possible changes to my equipment list

Stick to the Nero. Gyres aren’t very useful on a small tank. I have them on a 4ft Red Sea and I can’t get them to the full potential

I also like the small foot print of the nero's as the location will have viewing from all 3 sides. basically i'll be moving a dresser to replace with the tank, for mroe than one reason, makes more sense for the larger tank I'm upgrading to over my 20 gallon nano, and the fact my nano will continue to be in use during the cycling stages of the new tank before, the current inhabitants are moved over ( corals, fish, what little critters i have, and a serpent star). All corals will be getting a dip and rinse before being transferred over though, as my nano has the pesky red planaria, to reduce the possibility of red planaria and any other pests I may have being introduced into the new system.
