I'm new to sea urchins. Got a Halloween to eat nuisance algae. Its doing a great job. But was wondering: it has a piece of nuisance algae stuck it its quills? Should I try to remove this for the urchin? Or will it eventually take care of the algae itself? I'm not concerned about the sand as it usually gets rid of the sand. But the algae has been there now for a few days. I wasn't sure if this is a common happening or it will eventually irritate the urchin in some way. Thx in advance.

Normal; some reefers believe it is a form of camouflage and some think a sun screen
