Just got a baby mandarin dragonet, and I’ve been feeding with decapsulated brine shrimp, it’s only been about two weeks and I’m getting a massive amount of algae, I’ve already shut of my light. The algae started when Paul (mandarin) was introduced so I think it’s the brine shrimp I’m using. Any help would be nice as I’m starting a new tank in a few days and wanted to use some of the rock. If pics are needed just let me know.

Algae likes light and food. Ammonia, phosphate and nitrate are its favorite foods
