Hi Everyone.
I was just looking through the posts and couldn't find anything that is going on for December. Did I miss it, or is it just a bad month for most people to get together?
If it is just that no one was wanting to sponsor a meet, my wife and I would be more than happy to have one at our place. We have a nice sized house, but only one tank, a 180 gallon mixed reef. It is most definitely a work in progress, but is coming along.
We both love to cook, so we would be more than happy to throw together a nice batch of snacks. I work straight weekends, so it would have to be during the week. We were thinking any time on December 28, 29, or 30.
If someone does have something scheduled, let me know. I certainly do not mean to step on anyone's toes.
We are really looking forward to meeting everyone.
Sincerely,
Bob and Yuliya
P.S. Attached is a picture of our tank. We need to get more liverock to be able to get the corals closer to the metal halides!

Thanks Kris

yeah! once Christmas dies down -- it would be nice to have something to look forward to.

We normally in the past didn't schedule a Decemeber meet because of the holidays and so forth. I as well say go ahead and schedule. If you don't get many replies maybe try to take the January one! Not too many people have much going on then after the holidays.

All right.
Three at least fairly positive comments, so I will give it a shot. Let's go ahead and plan a meet for Tuesday, December 29th, starting at 6:00. Since I have never been to one of the meets, suggestions will be appreciated. Yuliya and I will make hors d'oeuvres of several types. If anyone has any dietary preferences/needs/allergies and is planning to attend, please let us know as soon as possible and we will figure something out.
Directions to our house is pretty easy. The address is 8602 Hickory Avenue, Larsen, WI 54947. Since everyone is from the area, I will start direction coming off Highway 41. Head east on Winchester Road (County II). Go across Highway 76, and continue approximately another 3-4 miles, to the intersection with County T. At that intersection, take a right (which is Hickory Avenue). Go to the second driveway on the right and turn in. You will be between a big yellow farm house and a yellow garage. Keep going down the driveway to the end (about 1/3 mile). Try to park off to the side a little so there is a path down the driveway for anyone that needs to leave early.
We look forward to meeting everyone that can make it.
Bob and Yuliya

Will try to make it, only a couple miles away, but we may be having company from out of state so not quite sure yet. But have a Merry Christmas and hopefully we'll see you all then.

I think we may be able to make it as well now. Would it be possible to bring our newborn with? all he does is eat, poop and sleep anyways!

Eric

I should also be able to make it

cancel this :( not going to be able to make it
