Decided to go with leds....

i was at my lfs yesterday and they finally came down on the price for AI sol...$399.95..cant pass on that....yet to decide do i need to go with 2 blue or 2 blue and 1 white...I am confuse....
and second question is this on these fixtures i dial em let say to 50% will they be using the half of its wattage right??? and if i indeed go with 2 blue and 1 white how many controllers i need???oh:

You'll want the sol blues, not the sol whites.

They will use electric based on usage, so it's a safe assumption 50% power will equal 50% energy usage.

You only need one controller.

I would go all sol blue then you will need just one controller.

If you go combo sol blue and white you will need two controllers. As a controller can only be set to dial in the color of either a sol blue setup or white setup not both

each sol has it's own powercord and are linked via the headphone jack to the controller. make sure you keep the intensities down to start with!

I found if the controller is set as Sol White with both Whites and Blues then it will control the Blue and Royal Blue as "Blue" and continue to properly control the whites as well, you just can't dial the Royal and Blue independantly
