Ok. So now I think I'm reasonably worried about it. I have had undetectable NO3 until shortly after the nem was added (may be a coincidence). I have noticed a portion of his outer tentacles on the rim are gone. He's got stubby tentacles all over. No gaping mouth tho. Coloration looks to be a bit light aside from tentacles and tips though. Been feeding mysis and he appears to close up over them and consume. But, there are portions of a white stringy substance "oozing" off of his body. I'm sorry for the rough pic but he's in a spot I'd have to break down portion of the rock to get to. And if he's gonna be fine, I don't wanna stress him more. I'm just worried he's a) starving since in the shade and I'm not feeding enough, b) decomposing, c) gonna take the rest of my tank with him if he does kick bucket, or just plain stressed out and this is what it is. Sunday made him 2 weeks into my tank and aside from day 1, has never really looked the same again. When he opens his tentacles (what's left) wide, it almost looks like I can see the muscular structure under the entire disc area. Hard to describe, so hope it makes sense. Any advice or even just a pat on the head and a "leave him alone and stop watching him" would be appreciated. Lol
Willing to do whatever needed as I don't want to lose such a beautiful animal nor am I one to admit defeat unless it's just futile.
You can see the white line to the left right by his tentacles. That is where it appears the outer rim of tentacles is missing from.
