I ha e a Red Sea reefer 425xl, which is a 4ft tank and I’m trying to decide on going with 2 hydra 26, or 2 hydra 52. It will be a mixed reef, I have some sps and lps in the tank right now under t5. I’m getting rid of the t5 and moving to led. From. What I’ve been reading the 26’s will cover the tank, but want to know of any benefit if any in getting the 52’s.

I have the AI26 HD and you can do multiple of these. But i highly recommend if you have not already to take a look at BRSTV series on lighting which over all these lights. They also have a great segment on AI and how some use multiple AI Primes highly effectively. I personally run AI 26HD with 4 ATI T5 on a 45 sps mixed reef cube. If i had the money I would upgrade to the new G4 Radions with my current T5's like World Wide Corals uses. But i just saw a great video on Jasons Fox's use of AI 52 Hydras as well.
