Deciding on a nano protein skimmer

I am running the fluval 13.5 sea evo

The fluval skimmer is actually made for my tank but is only rated for 10 to 20 gallon tanks

The coralife skimmer is rated for 32 gallon tanks

I like the fluval skimmer simply for aesthetic appeal and how it is sold for my tank, however coralife sounds better for cheaper ?

Recommendations?

Ah...you looooove the Fluval because it's pretty eh? Go for it - without a doubt. Don't get me wrong, do your research on both of them and their efficiency - but at the end of the day - you knooooow you have to look at it every day and you know aesthetics matter! (Well they do to me at least!).

All in all, they seem to perform similarly - I think it comes down to whether or not the appeal is worth the $26 and change to you. I'll tooootally be the devil on your shoulder.

Skip a skimmer. The fluval one crapped out on me after about a month. I have never had problems with just doing water changes
