Ok. Here's the stock list I'm working from to stock my 180 mixed reef:

Tangs:
· Blue Hippo Tang
· Blonde Naso Tang
· Purple Tang
· Yellow Tang
· Red Sea Sailfin Tang
Wrasses:
· Christmas wrasse (pair) (Halichoeres melanurus)
· Golden Rhomboidalis Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus rhomboidalis)
· Orange Back Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus aurantidorsalis)
· blue star leopard wrasse (Macropharyngodon bipartitus)
· Carpenter’s Flasher Wrasse (Paracheilinus carpenteri)
· McCosker’s Flasher wrasse (Paracheilinus mccoskeri)
· Eightline Flasher Wrasse (Paracheilinus octotaenia)
· Yellow-Flanked Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus lyukyuensis)
· Bluehead Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus cyanopleura)
Clowns:
· Pair of Blue Ice Clowns or Picasso Clowns
· Pair of Phantom Clowns
Anthias:
· Squareback Anthias (just 1 terminal male...love the colors)
· Bartlett’s Anthias (trio)
Others:
· Pair of red mandarin gobies
· Copperband butterfly
· Starry Blenny
· Blue Reef Chromis (trio)
· Gold Assessor Basslet
· Yellow Candy Hogfish
· Midas Blenny
· Dragonface pipefish

I'm working on building my first order with Live Aquaria. These are the fish already in my cart:

· Midas Blenny
· Starry Blenny
· Gold Assessor Basslet
· Copperband Butterfly
· Blue Tang

I could still add 1 or 2 more from the list...in fact, I had hoped to add a few wrasses (a leopard wrasse and at least a couple of flashers...because of the list, I was told I should add the leopard first, then flashers, then fairies, then whatever is left--eightline being added last). Problem is that the leopard isn't available right now at LA. So...I could add any of the following:

· Squareback Anthias
· McCosker's and Carpenter's wrasses
· Yellow Candy Hogfish

I think those are the only ones available right now from LA that might work for this first order (and my budget).

Thoughts?

HOLY COW. I've got a 240g tank and only have 8 fish. And they take up quite a bit of tank room themselves.

I wouldn't do a Gold Assessor in that large of a tank. You will likely never see it. I barely see mine in my 28 cube.

Wow that is a lot of fish. I would recommend adding slowly.

Wow! Really?? That's a shame. I was pretty excited about that one...but I definitely don't want to spend that much cash on a fish I won't see...guess I'll take him off the list...

That actually might change the game for this order since I was ordering immediately because he's on sale for $59 (instead of $99) at LA through tomorrow...

Now I'm going to check divers den for done other options. Lol

Thanks Mike. Did you mean a lot in the stock list or a lot in this order?

My plan is to QT all of them and then add them 2 or 3 at a time. I also do have a backup plan...I'm setting up a 120 as a nem tank, so anybody who doesn't play nice can go in there...I'm also planning to watch and be sure that I don't over crowd the tank...the stock list is just a list of ideas...so if I start adding and realize I should trim down the list, it can be done.
