Well the time has come for a new bigger tank as we all know this is a very exciting time for us reefers. This time id figure I'd start a build thread for this tank being my first tank i build from the ground up.
A little breef history this would be my third reef tank. My first was a Mr aqua 12gl long my second and current tank is a 40gl inovative marine. Been in the hobby almost 3 years now and love it. So before i post my equipment list and were im at on the build ill post some pics of my current tank before she get taken down soon.

Now for the equipment list
80gl deep blue rimless
Diy stand
30gl breeder for the sump
2 ,kessil 360we
2, mp10's
Return pump is a Sicce 4.0 951gph
Reef outopus classic 150 int. JBJ ATO
Any other misc equipment i haven't made up my mind yet heater, scrubber ect.

So instead of the manufacturer stand i decided to build my own for the fact i wanted something that looked better and was a little bigger than the stand deep blue sells. Went a little different direction insted of a 2×4 frame i went with unfinished kitchen cabinets then built a 2×4 frame inside of cabinets. The tank is 4' long so i bought a 36" cabinet and a 12" cabinet and joined them together if i could go back i would of just bought a 5' cabinet would of been easier but still turned out good.

Now i wish i posted more pics of the stand, i will get more pics up of the inside for the top i didn't want it to be flush so when im cleaning or gluing some Frags i wanted to be able to set things on the edge insted of the floor or the top of the tank.
At the moment this is currently were im at next will be getting the sump and pumping all done stay tuned. Any questions plz ask I'd love to answer. As always stay salty my reefers.

That stand looks great!!!
