Just a little heads up about these deep blue carbon pads. I was in the lfs and found these carbon pads that works and looks like a bubble trap foam pad, but also include carbon on it to filter the water. Thought it looked like a good idea, but after I put it in my NYOS skimmer went crazy, which I expected, but the problem was a week later it was still foaming over, even after I closed all the air tubes. So I took the pad out, did a 20% water change and the skimmer is still going nuts. Now a few days after the change the skimmer has settled down, it's still over flowing quickly but not as bad. So just a heads up before you see this in the store and wondering about it. I did a search online and haven't found really anything on this product, so it was my fault for buying it
