This may have been posted allready but I was unable to find the exact question I am looking for, If this is a duplicate post please bare with me.

I have a Deep Blue Solar Extreme 424 24" I am trying to program it and the instructions are not clear here is what i am looking for;

1. Which lights are 1 and 3
2. Which lights are 2 and 4
3. And an understanding on the programing sequence

Thank you in advance.

i had this fixture up until about 6 months ago. I was pulling my hair out trying to program that thing when i first got it. i believe that its from front to back if i remember correctly. Light 1 is closest to the front and 4 is farthest back. You first set the time on the timer which if im remembering correctly is both lights blinking. you then go through and set the on and off times for the lamps. i hope this helps and does not confuse you any more. its a little tricky but once you have done it once you will get it.

Well that makes sense on bulb location i guess i should have thought of that, thank you i will try again.

not a problem. i wish it was a little fresher in my mind so i could help a little more. only other advice i have for that fixture is to be careful with the legs they are a bit fragile. other than that its a great fixture. oh and dont unplug it if you dont need to cause the timer will be reset

I had the 48" version. If you can't figure it out repost and I will dig thru my pile of paperwork and find my old book. I am sure the timer is the same. I wish you luck with the fixture. Mine didn't last long at all.

I have figured it out, thanks for everyone's help.

I have 36 inch. Both lights push Prof button once both lights blink this for current time you will have to set this after a power outage the fixture will not keep current time only the set times I hate that about it. Okay top light blinking bottom on is start time for bulbs 1 & 3. Top light blinking bottom light off is off time for bulbs 1 & 3. Top on and bottom blink is 2 & 4 on. And top off and bottom blink is 2 & 4 off.

I pretty sure I typed that right anyway. I think I just messed up the fans from turning it on and off so much to figure all that out. Pm me if you have probe but that is the way mine works. Also the led moonlights stopped working in mine after a few months. Be sure to trash the stock bulbs to they are horrible I use giesseman aqua blue plus two giessemann actinic plus and a uvle actinic white. Other wise its a good fixture I have had it over a year with no problems. Just had to blow in the fans to get working probably just dust build up.you can override timers by pressing mode button. This will cycle threw the different configurations press Prof to go back to timed mode. Hope all this helped.

Yes that worked so far so good and yes I will look into getting new bulbs I have heard Bout the stock bulbs not being great, thanks again.

Was this a good fixture? I just need a cheap fixture and I have the chance to buy one for 40 dollars

For $40 I don’t think you can beat it. I really only switched to get a 6 bulb.
