Deep blue solar max

I have a 36g bow front with a reg orbit marine led light and I was thinking of switching the light set up but budget is tight. I have some zoas purple tip Cindy, green polyp leather , and a Spyro Favia. I was thinking of switching to a 30” coralife lunar aqualight quad t5 setup but then I saw the deep blue solarmax dual t5 HO set up. Now I was thinking would it be a good idea to run the deep blue with the orbit marine together or switch to the coralife setup. Your opinions and thoughts will be greatly appreciated! BTW I don’t plan on adding any sps corals.

A 4-bulb T5 would be enough to grow softies and LPS. Your tank is deeper than some tanks so take that into account when placing corals. I know you can use T5 and led together but that’s beyond my knowledge. I hope more people chime in. #reefsquad can you chime in?!

Our first tank was 36 bowfront. My recommendation would be the 4 bulb T5 and use the current led light if you wish to add some nice blue.

Thank you I was leaning towards the quad bulb t5. It apparently has 2 led bulbs

For those with multiple Kessil lights. I just ordered the spectral controller do I need to order an extra link cable to link both lights

Yes you will need a cable to link the two lights together. But all it is, is a 3.5 mm auxiliary cable Male on both ends like you should use on a head phone jack. Super cheap at Walmart, ect

Thanks! I went to the pharmacy last night and they had a 6’ one there picked it up for 7 bucks way cheaper than the Kessil one
