I recently got back into the hobby about a year ago. And currently I am about maxing out my 120 gallon, 4' x 2' x 2'. I want to upgrade to a 300 gallon deep dimension tank, 8' x 30" x 24" with built-in overflows. But I really don't know where to buy, what brands to purchase. Or a good custom builder that's affordable.

I'm calling out for help from all SPS guys, via this is going to be a SPS dominant tank. Where would you purchase or a have built a custom deep dimension tank?

What part of Nor-Cal? I've been thinking of upgrading to similar dem. as well but 32 inch deep instead and I was thinking of Crystal Dynamics. They delivery regularly to the east Bay Area and Neptunes carry stock their tanks in San Jose if you ever want to check their tanks out. I really dig their seam reinforcement builds. Go to their Facebook and/or website if you also like more info...a tad more on the costly side but worth it for all those nice looking sticks IMO...GL!!!

I was just there today. I was looking at the tanks they had there but none near the dimensions, I asked the guys working there and they had no clue about the tanks. Kinda sad they guys working there didn't have a clue.

I went on their web page and they didn't have a list of any retailers in central or Northern California listed.

I went to Neptune aquatics website. They had pricing for tank sizes but not the size I was looking for. I wonder if I emailed them they'd have any clue second time around.

But the tanks are very nice I agree.

Any other builders out there guys?

Get CD phone number from their site and call Trent directly and ask for a quote and email him your wishful list of things [email protected]. He gave me one within 2 days and I'm sure he will work something out with you. Their steel wrap wood stand is also a thing of artwork. CD are the old builders of Leemar with new and improved designs... Neptunes most of sold their 8 footer that stood shinning in the display room. That thing was a beast with the shadow external overflow box. I don't know but you may also try Visio. They are down south also.

Also try Keith with Signature Aquarians. He's a custom builder in Sacramento and his tanks are as good as it gets. Do a google search and you will know what I mean. He's got tanks scattered all over Sac and Bay Area regions but not much advertisment on his tanks...only through word of mouth. He will deliver for a charge also. Here is his email address [email protected]. GL!
