I recently added water to my "new to me" 32g biocube and realized something I probably should have had in mind when choosing a tank...I'm short, with short arms. My tank is deeper than the 12g I used to have. I'm wondering how in the heck will I handle gluing frags and moving things around my sandbed since I can't reach it with my hands?

Any tips or tricks for the vertically challenged? I don't want to have to put on a snorkel just to glue a frag down the road!

im also short with short arms and i have a reefer 525 and often struggle reaching the far back of the tank. i have a large step ladder and often times work on my tank with no shirt on just because reaching the front bottom of the tank im already armpit deep. they do make long grabber tools and tongs for aquariums . amazon will be your best option for that.

Thanks! I'll see what I can dig up. I have already decided that if I ever upgrade, it's going to be to a shallow tank for sure! :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

The pc term for our condition is “Stubby.”

I like long gloves to keep my arms out of the water. Both tweezers, gloves and tongs are tricky to get a proper grip on things when I’m trying to glue a frag in place.

Get a good shallow tank but remember the long reach to the back wall can also submerge a stubby person.
