deepseafrags contacted me two weeks after the transaction to tell me that the polyp didn't open and hasn't, so he wants a $50 refund.
I sent my phone number in ALL my pm's, I also said to send pictures if there are ANY issues, even potential ones. None of which were done.
Then he sends me a pm to say that it is probably from the SINGLE polyp being squished by the rubberband in transit, but that he didn't think it was that big of a deal when he opened the bag, and just thought about it NOW?!?
I also went out of my way why I was on vacation over the Xmas holidays to contact him via R2R since I can't do it on my phone (I can view the forums, just not send anything). I AGAIN gave my phone # and said to call, especially since I was on vacation and using my brothers computer to pm back. No phone call again.

I provide a live arrival guarantee and have and do take care of ANY issues related to my end of the deal. This is providing there is a phone call and/or pictures to back up any claims. Being online there is no other way to tell if someone just wants to keep the coral, then get some money back too. This provides protection for both the buyer and seller.

Now he is threatening me with negative feedback if I don't settle the issue by saying he would like a $50 refund so she can keep the feedback excellent.

Definitely won't be dealing with him again....

Pictures and/or a phone call is the only way to handle a situation online. If those things can't be met, then buying online should be re-thought.

I have excellent feedback for a reason - I take care of any issues. Including re-sending frags (which I have done), providing there are pictures of any issues.

Here is the picture of the frag prior to it going out

You sold multiple hornets on that posting!! How can try to post a picture. the frag was brand new and super white with no sign of algae!!

can you at least admit that the frag plug had had a rubberband or are you gonna lie about that as well!!

Ill be glad to post your reply to me about the rubberband!!

once again this was freshly cut and shipped!!

Your kidding right? I had one single polyp frag. You can tell it is the frag I sent since it is same exact frag. Post a picture of the frag I sent and you can see that :)

The rubberband was on it since they were floated with pink styro. It held the styro on.
If I ever got a package with a rubberband on top of a polyp - ESPECIALLY a PH, a picture would be the 1st thing I would do before I even got done acclimating it.
Not to mention, after about the 4th pm you said "Oh and btw the rubberand was directly on top of the polyp, but I didn't even think about it, or that it would be a problem"
Are you kidding me?

My reputation speaks for itself.

Why didn't you take ANY pictures at all? Why don't you have pictures still?
I have a feeling the polyp is doing great in your tank and your just looking for some free money back.
That or it slowly died due to not liking your tank parameters, which I of course can not control. Nobody has a stay alive guarantee -

How hard is a phone call too? In this day and age just about everyone has a cell phone. If you don't have one, you surely could have borrowed a friends/family members for 5 min to call me.

The bottom line -

No pictures
No phonecall
Pm'ed 2 weeks later

show me a picture of my frag plug that had a rubberband!!! That is not the hornet you sent me!!

Here are pictures of the original colony and the frags. One four polyp, two three polyp (one I kept), and a single.

You got a healthy frag, just like the others. As you can see, they make a nice little jigsaw puzzle since I cut the disc up that they are on so I don't disturb them and cause very little if any stress.

Thanks for your patronage, I'm sorry they didn't work out for you in your tank.
