Defer Statement

Will a "defer" statement work during a power outage? I need my skimmer to stay off for 3 minutes after power is restore. I have the statement on the last line of the code and when I unplug the apex and plug it back in the skimmer comes right back on. However, after a Feed mode is complete the skimmer stays off for 3 minutes.

Yes it should work. I would have the defer line work off your return pump so whenever it shuts off then back on it will delay the skimmer

For some odd reason its not working when power is restore. Skimmer kicks back on immediately.

How would I word the defer statement to work off the state of the return pump?

Does it kick on them to go back off? I notice my display lights will turn on and off when ever I unplugged my apex.

" If outlet (your return outlet name here) = off then off"

Whoops, also forgot the defer line lol, it will say:

"Defer 000:00(the time you want to defer in total minutes) then ON
