Deflated Acan

Hello all,
Came into work this morning and everything in the tank looked normal for lights out. Lights started ramping up at 8 and around 9 at full spectrum everything looked good and was opening up.
I had to run out of the office this afternoon for a meeting and when I came back I noticed my acan was shriveled up. Is this normal? I’ve had it in the tank for about 3 weeks now and it has always been fully open.
I’ll test parameters tomorrow so see if somethings thrown off in the tank. I havnt changed anything in the tank since I got it besides 10% weekly water changes. All other coral and fish/inverts are acting normal.

Yeah, it's only been up for about 2 and a half months now. I'll keep an eye on it over the next couple days. Thx!

Gotta feed them a couple times a week. Reef roids or similar food aimed at them from a few inches. They will also deflate if something is irritating them, like shrimp crawling on them.

It's funny you say that, as I was reading, I looked over and my cleaner shrimp was standing right on top of it. I was looking into reefroids, does it raise the PO4 like crazy?

That could b why it’s retracted. If I do feed u may need a feeding bell to keep the shrimp away. The RR could. Just don’t over feed and do water changes.

I'll look into reef roids more. I use AB+/Reef chili at home but being at work I don't want to keep a bunch of fish stuff in the refrigerator/Freezer.
