Hey all there's not a lot of info on the Deltec skimmers here in the US, but the 600i seems to be one that is quiet and has a small footprint that might potentially fit in my RSR 350 sump. I'm hoping to squeeze it into the smaller chamber which I think was intended for the refugium, but I'd like to use the larger chamber for that.

Anyone fit one of these in this chamber on the 350 v3 sump? Any comparable performing and silent skimmers to use in this chamber?

Thanks!

I have a 1000i and it is deadsilent. The small fuge area is really tiny, I dont believe you'll have an easy time fitting a skimmer inside.

The footprint on the 600 is pretty small, what are the dimensions of the chamber your wanting to put it in? For what its worth, if nutrient reduction is the primary goal of the fuge, the deltec will handle it well, and the need for a larger fuge, or any fuge at all in fact is significantly less.

Thanks for the input so far.

The chamber on the v3 sump for the 350 is 6"x14"... which should fit the 600 from the measurements online but it's hard to tell if the dimensions are at the base or at the widest part.

Did you end up buying the 600i? Just got myself a Reefer 350 v3 and I'm strongly considering this skimmer.

No I didn't. I'm still skimmerless at this point. Chaeto has been taking care of nitrates and phosphates in my system for the time being. Let me know how it works out if you do!

I bought it, havent set up my tank yet, but the skimmer looks very nice. Only minor downfall I see is the lack of a drain hose on the collection cup.

Excellent choice, my 600i has been great on my 45g tank.
