I have one of these Deltec reactors

I purchased it for my large system, and did try it out for a period of about 6 weeks, but it never got down to producing zero nitrate on the output. But I think that’s more down to my impatience rather than the reactor.

You have to go very slowly to build up the anaerobic bacteria in the reactor, and the principal of how it works is sound. I used it with a Kamoer FX STP pump to control the flow.

Ive still got it ready to try again, if and when nitrate gets to high, there very solid and excellent build quality, and yes I would buy it again.

Just follow the set up instructions to the letter and go very slowly

Which pump does it come with? Did you get the Deltec model? What pump are you going to use to pull water through the reactor? when I purchased mine, it was difficult to find a reliable pump.

I don't have a deltec reactor but I use an old reef octopus dual chamber reactor that I converted to the nitrate reactor. Once the reactor is seeded it runs to perfection and I can literally set what I want my nitrates to be via flow through the reactor. Go for it is all I can say

Most hardware stores will have drawers of "O" rings. Take your Korallin see what fits. Make sure the OD, ID and thickness is optimized for best sealing. BTW these are metric
