just wondering if theres a diffrence between this and a regular eheim 1260 other than the impeller?

Plumbing connections are different

but I'm just about sure i can just remove my fittings and impeller and connect them to a plain old 1260, I'm just wondering if theres a diffrence in power draw or something, i need a replacement but I'm not wanting to pay $225 for it if i can just pay $160 for a new pump and put my fittings and impeller in it.
