I bought a Deltec 601s calsium reactor about a year ago. It's so noisy that I can heard it to next room. The trouble is in the circulation pump Aquabee 3000. It resonates really loudly. I tried to clean it and I added some silicone pieces under the reactor. It helps a little but this is just terrible and it seem it's made for deaf reefers. I was hoping it will settle down when time goes but no.
so my guestion is, what could be a dc pump to replace AB pump? If nothin else helps it will go to trash. Luckily there is other suppliers with silent reactors. The quality is not the same it used to be..
