Deltec Skimmer Sizing

I am thinking about buying a Deltec skimmer. I have read on a number of occasions that you do not need to up size a Deltec. Would a Deltec 1660 really be able to handle a 300 gallon heavy stocked tank?

Don't know, but Deltec makes some really good skimmers. Used to run the ole MC500 and wish I never sold it.
I run a BK now and they do size up property to what the specs, say.
