I know sun corals prefer shaded areas but do Dendros prefer to be in the shade? Since their polyps open during the day I assumed they didn't require a shaded area? How much flow do they like?

Med flow. similar to a frogspawn. I have mine in normal light.
I also have my black sun coral in high light and higher flow.

Salty,
Want kind of water conditions do they like?
Like low, medium or high organics?
And are they hard to keep corals with special needs?

He Freddie. Standards parameters but yea a lot of organics in the water.mist find it diddibcukt to keep them alive especially in a super clean Oder sized skimmer kind of tank. You need to have stuff in the water all the time. You can get away rig med organics like my tank and spot feeding but you have to keep an eye on numbers Esp if you want other corals.
Probably why my acros are on the brown side
