I'm looking for a dendro that looks like the one in the picture below. Has anyone seen one similar?

Try Cherry Corals. Todd has had some really nice ones in the past (especially at MACNA).

Thanks. I saw the ones Todd had at MACNA. Although very nice, they didn't look like this one. :(

I probably should have put this in the WTB forum.

Is it possible to get one of you underpaid mods to move it for me?

Coraldiva, that is one sweet colony! How is your Dino Skin chalice doing? Mine has started to lose the green rim and I can't seem to find it's sweet spot in the tank. :(

Moved it for you.

Those are some sweet looking dendros in the pic you posted. I just ordered my first dendros from Chris at reefdoctormicromussas.

I have this colony and I'm getting more planned to cut it up but be willing to sell it whole pm if interested.

That's is a really nice dendro but I don't think its the coloration I'm looking for.

Emc, I'm not sure what the dino skin chalice is. Do you have a pic?

Its the one Perry is now calling "Goldfinger Watermelon" or something like that. Looks like the Stargazer.

Ohh, it totally bleached out a month after I got it, but NOW it's doing awesome. It's growing and getting a thick green rim around the edge. It's sitting in a 125g with 2 250w DE 14ks. I placed it in the middle of the tank 15" from the top of the water. It's not getting blasted with direct light and seems to be a lot happier with low light.

Are you looking for a lighter skin with lighter polyps?

Yes. The skin seems to be more of a yellowish coloration than orange and the polyps are more yellowish with orange in the center. I may have found it though. I will see when it arrives.

Coraldiva, did you make anyother changes other than changing it to a lower light position?

Mine was dong well for a while and has started to recede over the past month. I've lost the green rim entirely.

I've been keeping up on the salinity in the tank. I slacked for awhile & let it get too salty more than a few times. I also finally hooked up a chiller. I just couldn't go another summer without having one. I *think* the heat caused the chalice to bleach. My tank got up to 85 one day with the lights off and fans blowing on it.

Thanks for the info. I don't think temp is the issue with mine but I am trying to tune in a new ca reactor and the ph and alk have been fluctuating. I think I'm going to see if someone will babysit it for a while.
