I was looking for an obscure white paper I think was done by Mat Wandell. He goes over on of the propagation tanks they set up.
The main component was carbon dosing , skimmer and deep sand bed.

Thanks for sharing, Really good info. Bacteria gotta be key. All who tried, have good filtration , good flow, these two areas can be controlled. Now food is different, point is finding right food, they love.
I was feeding and not keeping eye on NH3, thinking filtration will handle it, not the case. We'll see. Thanks

Thanks, with these corals, we're at the piont similar to many of the LPS & SPS corals we now can aquaculture.

Most of us reefers know em from Reef nutrition and bottles of pods.

Yeah buddy!! I know its all about the PE, but the stalk of this dendro looks AWESOME. Its almost like the arms of the polyps are falling down the side.

While waiting on corals. Update, besides using over 1 cubic foot activated carbon, that gets backwashed at times. I add
again wet/dry filter to DT. We'll wait and see , how it all performs. Now I'm looking for a saltilinity controller. Stay tune

After 4 hrs, got #2 filter(right side), up and running.
Lot cleaner than #1

Here's both filters

And here's old faithful, wet/dry filtration

All of this for 24 gallon DT

I dont know if you've came across this already but for feeding i think i read somewhere that some who had these coral(which i am a huge fan of) blends up chaeto in a blender and uses it as phyto. I think it last about 1-2 weeks in the fridge. Just puting that out there. Excited to come along for the journey. Good luck.
