Once you prove your method say after keeping these alive and healthy for years + propagating it will be interesting to see if you can refine so that it is practical for average Joe to keep them with minimal specialised equipment.

Equipment simple, I can now leave it for 7 days , without worrying about food and water perimeters. Simple dosing pumps/timers help. But it will be years minium 2 years , to expect some results. Stay tune

So, why cut and expose wires?
For $20 worth of parts.

With one relay, cord, and timer.
I just made a slave/master device. One 3K comes on for 3 minutez one direction, then the other 3K comes on another 3 minutes opposite direction , and restarts cycle

The 3K's, I Macgyver the hell out of them.

The last 3 days, I've changed food reciepe every 12 hours. Other words I have two different recipes of food. First recipe is served from 6pm to 6 am. Then second recipe starts 7am to 5pm.
I also reduced feeding amount 15mL every 1 hour, from 7am-5pm, then 30mL every 1 hour, 6pm-6am. Corals lot better. Stay tune

From trying to raise Dendronephthya and Scleronephthya. From observations dendronephthya start sprouting roots, Scleronephthya none. To me only way to differentiate the two

It seems like a relatively easy solution to grow and constantly feed phyto, roties etc? I’m designing a small NPS coral system and just researching my options and I thought maybe you or #Lasse were the most likely to have tried something like this.. I like the idea of growing and dosing without the need to refrigerate.. sorry for hijacking your thread but the device kinda fits with your project.

Love the principal of it. Only thing in my case the foods I put together and fed, will clog drip valves on it. Very interesting. If you try let me know. I use reef roids and similar in my reciepe of
21 herbs & spices. Kidding on the 21 herbs....
