I think Fiji is orgin. Maybe Tonga, but Tonga I remember less thistles.
Now I know why called thistles, I got one when handling coral , felt like wood splinter.

Just got off the phone with a vendor and he has 10 dendronephthya corals from Africa they look somewhat like the picture​

So my vendor has my 10 dendronephthya corals from Kenya. Hope he's feel good tomorrow, 9pm we meet halfway.

To increase water clarity bought ozone generator. Already have orp controller. Protein skimmer. Next step to getting water more pure.

So I was under the impression that my vendor had the 10 dendronephthya corals, he emailed me and waiting for the shipment so hopefully today I'll pick up.

Talk to tranship about an hour ago, my 10 dendronephthya corals confiscated by US Customs. Reason, no CITES permits. And I know why, I'm not an import/exporter, but I do know that, because soft coral on piece of coral rock they need CITES permits. Because of coral rock. Bummer

So, Saturday will check up on my children of the sea, I'll know if I aclimated them right, and also see how their doing

Acclimating 1 red dendronephthya, 1 blk sun coral, 2 stereonephthya i think. Heres the corals added last Sun.

Going back to check on corals this morning and to adjust salt alinity. And check on the corals
I have two corals I put in last Sunday they're from Southern Philippines they need to be upright I found out recently so the next time we'll try and see what happens I'm trying to set up a bigger hexagon tank to do that, the tank I have now is too small.
