@Slingshot357, I just started reducing feed from morning light to sunset, positive so far. More when nighttime comes around.

Sounds like a good idea. I think I mentioned how Dendra seems more open and active at night after lights out and I'm thinking the closing up may be part of the digestion process but have no way to confirm it or not. Maybe feeding and timing how long after feeding she closes up? Back when I was manually feeding her at the same times ever day she also seemed to close up the same time every day. Now with the constant feeding the tank all the time it's random when she will close. Just a thought.

But then again I don't have much info to go on. And what's the old saying? Correlation isn't causation?

I'm still working on finding a balance between enough of the right food in the tank to keep her happy without crashing the entire tank. Its not a species specific tank and I'm working on adding a lot more corals, so I'll need to balance the nutrient levels so everyone is happy. It's mostly phosphates I need to worry about. The new supply of GFO came in just in time. Phosphates hit almost 0.3 last night.

I tested phosphate and it’s going back down. .23 this morning.

Also this is the most inflated I’ve seen her. I’d almost swear she’s grown a bit.

If she's grown, more like grown sideways. ...... she's got some hips......haha
I can't see the love handles......Hahaha

That’s the way I like them. Plump and happy. Lol

Edit: Just noticed she’s almost grown off the frag rock.

What's the word on the corals?
What happens now, they get reordered until they come in. What I don't like is the reason for them not being shipped was it was too hot out there to transport from the ocean to the shipping house. I didn't want to get the importer mad but they do make coolers

Lame reason. If it's too hot to ship the corals then it's too hot to ship any livestock. I'm sure they are getting their other orders, nicely packed in foam with a couple cooler packs.

importer, from talking to the other customers of his, Importer is pretty grouchy and gets mad quick. I don't want to make him mad and he has a heart attack or something you know. That's what happened to my dad. I didn't get my dad mad, but someone else did and he had a heart attack he lived through it he was okay after.
