No the scleronephtheya on their site are VERY healthy looking. Nice and robust. They are just contracted. When they fuzz up they will be beautiful.

Delivered , on my way back

I was on my way back and a different client calls me. back to work again so when I finally get home I start acclimating the coral. Now I just pour in the water from the sponge that has bacteria and it's straight into the bag that has the coral I only acclimating maybe 5 minutes maybe. then into the display tank you can see in the picture most of the polyps open up so they're not as delicate as some say.
but I do let the water temperature in the bag and the display tank acclimate. for at least 15 minutes. Then I pull the coral out of the bag into a bowl and pour the water that the coral came in also in the bowl and squeeze the two sponges with bacteria straight into the bowl that has a coral.

the coral looks like it was squash or the other bags sat on top of it through the whole travel it's not looking like a tree yet.

one thing I do notice, the dendronephthya open fairly quick compared to scleronephthya, the latter take one week to two weeks to open.

I didn't get the notification, but I saw their thread and let them know where to get some, I think they bought one off of a website I went back to check on and it was gone a Scleronephthya

Question about that post. I was thinking of getting a sun coral and from everything I've read they hate being in the light and need to be put in caves or under overhangs but that one that's having the problem seems to be in direct light while the others look like they are back in a cave. Should they be placed out of direct light and in the shadows or do they not really care as long as it's low PAR?

I think they'll get used to the low par with time. I do notice mine when shining a flashlight to check everything as soon as the flashlight shines on them most of the polyps will retract. There's others that have theirs out in the open so I think with time they get used to the light, you just have to entice them to come out in the daytime I think with juice from shrimp or from squid. The juice should entice them.
