Hello my name is Tyler Campos and this is my first tank thread and basically my first thread on Reef 2 Reef. Ive been reefing for about a year and a half now on a 75 gallon tank I bought off craigslist. I currently go to Design Tech high school with my buddy @Kremis. We both love reef keeping and wanted to bring that to our school to show other people how beautiful it is and inspire other student to join the hobby. We received Red Sea Reefer 350 from Robilium on Bay Area Reefers. (http://www.bareefers.org/forum/members/robilium.14821/) We were then able to get some equipment from Lynn27 on Reef Central. (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/member.php?u=232182) Right now we have set up the tanks, filled it, scaped it, and set up ATO. We plan on keeping most LPS and Softies and hopefully later on the students will be able to grow SPS. @Kremis and I have started a club at our school to teach student how to maintain a reef and will try and give them tanks in order for them to try and build a system at their homes. We are currently in the process of looking for sponsors for lighting and another other equipment. Will try and update every week. Thank you very much for looking.

Thank you so much Hydor for the donation of the Koralia 3rd Gen Wavemaker and the Prodibio Biokit Reef Maintenance. We are very excited to have good flow and be able to hurry our nitrogen cycle.

Cleaned the glass today and moved the sand around making it nicer. We are looking forward to getting Bio Media from Cermedia and buying lights next weekend. Hope to get some coral in by next week.

If you are near or around the bay area and have unwanted fish, equipment, or coral we would gladly accept

We will try and update every Thursday with pictures. Thank you very much for looking.

On Monday we received our second donation from Leyda Vazquez over at Cermedia for donating two Media Blocks and 1 gallon of Bio Balls. We are excited to have these in our sump to home beneficial bacteria.

We also were able to purchase lights las weekend and received them on Monday. We decided to build a canopy but it tuned out a little too small for the tank but still works and is sturdy so it looks a little bit funky but we finally got lights on the tank. We put in a couple of easy corals in the tank and its looking good. Hope to get peppermint shrimp this weekend and get rid of all the aiptasia in the tank.

Nothing new, everything is looking good. Bought 3 chromis and 2 pijama cardinals but sadly they all were killed by Gertrude (Our trigger fish)
