These little guys are my favorite by far. But I do not want to see them sold for the reason they are deformed. I would not want the hobby producing deformed fish but unfortunately some times these things happen.EVEN IN THE WILD... I have taken in a few "stubbies" and given them homes since they deserve it. Great little fish to watch they have to put extra effort to race around yet they are super active and curious goof balls. Just like normal clowns only short..

Yes I guess that would be a good name for them .. I don't particularly care for those extreme morphed ones but they are around indeed, and as was stated someone needs to care for them so power to those who do.

They look great using the clam as a host... how old are these???

In the picture they where little guys 1/2 inch about two years ago. Here are more recent pictures, I also have classic orange stubbies. I started keeping them when i heard they use to be disposed of by breeders. Don't ask where i get mine not going to tell. They cause no problems and are easy to care totally non aggressive. They do get into little battles amongst themselves female/male jiggles but thats about it. One funny thing i had a group of orange and black stubbies in a 160 gallon and they would stay apart. Orange one side and the blacks on the other any one of either group that ventured out would get chased back into there group. Clowns

Yes that is indeed what Clowns will often do .... protect their area of the tank and keep others away especially if those others are clowns too ... nice shots ... Stubbies they are for sure .... good of you to give them a nice large "home" ...

Nice that they host that Clam but keep an eye on them so the Clam does not get too irritated and decides not to open fully ... usually it is ok but better safe than sorry as that is a nice clam

I call this one Rockstar!

Spots on both sides, solid blue spots as well as the orange top, black middle, and blue base bullseye spots. The spots are not changing color as this fish continues to mature for me. Feed Me!!!

gorgeous clowns! how do you guys keep them from fighting?
i have two picasso's and two Platinums in a 60 gallon no other fish and the picasso's are very aggressive to them. i have them in a seperate breeder box at this point

I've managed to keep several different species of clowns together in a similar sized tank but they were all introduced as juveniles and each has their own anemone. They are young adults now and so far so good but I watch them closely cuz I realize things could change.

Introducing Swiss ocellaris clownfish! So far this is the only clownfish like this on the planet! All black fins with completely white body and white belly and tons of big black spots! Enjoy!!!
