I like the Picasso with the frenchie mustache pretty unique, I'm getting 2 ba Picasso from JUSTCLOWNINAROUND one of them has helmet n burns they look sick!! Love your Picasso man ^^^^^^^^

My black and white's new room mate, SA black ice I just got. They sent it kinda big(special order for myself through the Petco I work at, love the discounts!), as it was labeled 1.5 inch and he's nearly a full 2 in. which is bigger than the black clown I got it to pair with. So far so good no real chasing or nipping
While the snowflake I also got in this order came in barely over an in. And introduced to my 2.3 in. Regular oci and is going through the trials of acceptance

Now that they are calmed down and settled, I got the SA snowflake and black ice 4 days ago (post one previouse page was just hours after acclimation) and paired the snowflake to a regular ORA oci and Black ice to Ora black and white.
Here's the little snowflake with my larger ocellarius
And the black ice that turned out to be bigger than the B/W I had for months (had him with the the regular oci but she never paired with him well, kept him in the corner)

Oh, can anyone provide a link or explain the origins of the snowflake line? I remember reading somewhere that the original snowflakes came from regular clowns and there were only two of them and all snows were bred out from just those two mutants. Ive been searching for a history or origins of this "breed" just out of curiosity.

Here is some information I found for you. I got this from ORA's website:
This popular clownfish was originally produced by Tropical Marine Centre in the UK around 1999. At that time it was considered an undesirable trait. TMC had two, completely normal looking pairs of Ocellaris that produced two or three snowflakes once every couple of spawns. These pairs are still alive and reproducing today but they no longer produce Snowflakes. Only around 100 of these fish were ever exported to the United States making F1 Broodstock direct from TMC extremely rare. ORA obtained it’s first pair of F1 Snowflakes in 2005 and we have been working on developing a hardier and more colorful strain of this glorious clownfish ever since.
We actually have one of the few snowflakes that were exported to the USA in 2003-2006. She and her original mate are now 9 years old. We recently gave her a new male, a Rod's Onyx. They just laid their first nest together and are due to hatch tonight. Here is a video of them with their nest. We are pretty excited to see their babies.

Wow I must have been blind to have missed that. Thank you very much. I love the blacker ice, can't wait to see what my black ice colors out to be. hoping to make some of my own blacker ice with my pair, of course I'd love to get a full black snowflake.
